Wat San Fran Dhammaram

Phra Nuttapanyo, a Bangkok native, was recently awarded a highly prestiguous phD in Computer Science from UC San Diego. In his undergraduate studies, Phra Nuttapanyo studied Computer Engineering at the esteemed Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. His interest in dhamma led him to ordain as a monk at San Fran Dhammaram Temple in 2007.

In his time at San Fran Dhammaram Phra Nuttapanyo contributed to the much needed technological development of the temple’s resources. His unyielding efforts to provide dhamma to people around the world are highly laudable.

Phra Nuttapanyo is a great resource for dhamma discussion as he has been faithfully following Venerable Acariya Thoon Kippapanyo many years prior to his ordination.

He has come to stay with us full time now as of 2011. Lucky us!

พระ ณัฐเป็นชาวกรุงเทพฯ ท่านจบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก สาขาวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์จาก University of California San Diego ก่อนหน้านั้น ท่านได้รับปริญญาตรี เกียรติ์นิยมอันดับ 2 จากคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งแม้ว่าท่านจะมีความรู้ความสามารถในการศึกษาทางโลกอย่างมาก ท่านก็มีความสนใจในการศึกษาปฏิบัติธรรมไม่ยิ่งหย่อนไปกว่ากัน ท่านจึงสามารถตัดสินใจออกทันทีที่จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก

ใน ระหว่างที่ท่านพำนักอยู่ที่วัดซานฟรานธัมมาราม ท่านได้ใช้ความรู้ความสามารถส่วนตัวของท่านในการจัดทำเว็ปไซด์นี้ ตลอดทั้งร่วมเรียบร้อยหนังสือคำสอนของหลวงพ่อทูล ฉบับภาษาอังกฤษ ท่านจึงเป็นตัวอย่างของการทำประโยชน์ตนและประโยขน์ท่านให้ถึงพร้อมจากการ ดำเนินชีวิตสมณะเพศในแต่ละวันได้เป็นอย่างดี
