Visakha Puja Day is one of the most important days in Buddhism because it marks three important events in the life of the Buddha. Specifically, the day he was born, the day he became Enlightened, and the day he entered Nirvana. These auspicious events miraculously fall on the same month and day, namely, the full moon day of the sixth lunar month. This day is also considered the emergence of Buddhism in the era of Gautama Buddha.

Each year, Buddhists throughout the world gather together to worship in recollection of the Buddha’s wisdom, purity, and compassion. We invite you to join us in celebrating this truly auspicious day.
