Specifically\, the day he was born\, the day he became Enlightened\, and the day he entered Nirvana. These auspicious events miraculously fall on the same month and day\, namely\, the full moon day of the sixth lunar month. This day is also considered the emergence of Buddhism in the era of Gautama Buddha. \nEach year\, Buddhists throughout the world gather together to worship in recollection of the Buddha’s wisdom\, purity\, and compassion.
