In these retreats\, we gather and discuss real-world problems\, how to fix them using wisdom\, and learn to address the underlying views that give rise to our issues. \nIn the past\, we held a large annual retreat every year at KPY USA retreat center in Redwood Valley. However\, we lost the retreat center in the large Northern California wildfires in 2017 and have since been holding smaller annual retreats at the temple. DESCRIPTION:You are invited to a weekly class on Insight Vipassana focused on developing clear understanding and practical wisdom in daily life. \nClasses meet every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. and continue weekly as long as the teacher is available and in the country. The class is open to all levels. Being a Buddhist is not required. The class is free for all members. \nEach participant receives personal instruction on the foundations of Vipassana practice. The class clarifies how to distinguish true Vipassana from what is not Vipassana\, helping avoid common misunderstandings.
