Join us as we commemorate the occasion in which over 2,500 years ago on the night of the full moon of the third lunar month, the Buddha’s first 1,250 enlightened disciples gathered without being summoned and the Buddha delivered the ovada-patimokkha.
Magha Puja Day falls on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
To honor this occasion, our temple will hold a commemorative event on Sunday, March 8, 2026, we still start off with an alms round in front of the temple followed by religious chanting, a candle procession ceremony, and the watering of sacred Buddha and arahant relics.
