Every New Year, San Fran Dhammaram Temple and our members come together to make merit and start the new year.

The ceremony begins with a formal request to the monks for an opportunity to make merit by accepting alms in their bowls in front of the temple. The ceremony continues inside, where members offer food and the monks give a sermon.
