Visakha Puja day marks the anniversary of three important events in the Buddha’s life: his birth, enlightenment (nibbana), and death (attainment of complete enlightenment, or parinibbana).
Devotees typically commemorate this auspicious day at temples throughout the world. However, due to the COVID19 pandemic, many people are currently under stay at home orders.
We invite you to observe Visakha Puja day with us virtually – through our YouTube Live and Facebook Live (Facebook/wat san fran dhammaram). The ceremonies will begin on Wednesday, May 6 at 7pm with the request for five precepts, followed by a sanghadana offering, and the Visakha Puja ceremony.

วันวิสาชบูชาเป็นวันสำคัญสากลทางพระพุทธศาสนา เนื่องจากวันที่พระพุทธเจ้า ประสูติ ตรัสรู้ และปรินิพพาน ซึ่งทั้ง 3เหตุการณ์นี้ได้เกิดขึ้นตรงกัน ณ วันขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 6 หรือวันเพ็ญแห่งเดือนวิสาขะ พวกเราชาวพุทธถือว่าเป็นวันที่สำคัญยิ่ง จึงมารวมตัวกันทำกิจกรรมเพื่อระลึกถึงคุณคำสอนของพระพุทธเจ้า
เนื่องจากวิกฤตโควิด-19 ทำให้พวกเราชาวพุทธไม่สามารถมาร่วมกิจกรรมที่วัดได้ ดังนั้นวันวิสาขบูชา, วันพุธที่ 6 พฤษภาคมนี้ ตั้งแต่เวลา 19.00น.เป็นต้นไปทางวัดซานฟรานขอเชิญชวนทุกท่านร่วมกันถวายสังฆทาน รับพร และสวดมนต์นวิสาขบูชาผ่าน YouTube Live และ Facebook Live (Facebook/wat san fran dhammaram) โดยจะมีแม่ชีเป็นตัวแทนถวายสังฆทาน
